The prophets series

In the line of preserving our history is also knowing its source. As we view the world through an Islamic lens we tell the story of our beginnings as mankind from where we know it - the Qur’an and the Hadith. We move through all prophets known to Islamic sources and highlight some of the lessons that we may take out of it. Narrated by Mohamedsmening with much love for the story, we contribute by telling the story visually. All footage is filmed by ourselves, with much emphasis on beauty, composition and narrative.

Episode I: Adam (as)

All mankind begins with Adam (as) and is impacted by Iblis's uncontained jealousy for him until the last hour. Why did Allah create Adam, the angels asked. Another creation spreading corruption and bloodshed?

Episode II: Sheeth (as)

Little is known about Sheeth, the son of Adam, who witnessed the spread of corruptions among his cousins, the people of Habeel.

Episode III: Idris (as)

Idris (as) was a prophet known for his wisdom and knowledge. He was the first prophet given the gift of writing and preached for over 300 years, teaching his people various skills and crafts. He was a just ruler and is considered a link between Adam (as) and Noah (as).

Episode IV: Nouh (as)

The first messenger among the prophets had to confront the most severe of transgressions perpetrated by his people: Shirk - the act of worshipping entities besides Allah, our creator.
